Brian Householder is responsible for the Digital Infrastructure business unit. He leads the business and P&L for Hitachi's innovative digital infrastructure solutions, including data infrastructure, data governance and managed services, to help organizations unlock the full value of their data with an edge-to-core-to-multicloud strategy.
Householder was previously the chief executive officer of Hitachi Vantara prior to the integration of Hitachi Consulting in January 2020, when the business was organized into two lines of business: Digital Infrastructure and Digital Solutions. As CEO, he was responsible for all facets of the company's global operations to deliver timely, competitive and innovative solutions to the global market.
Before his time as CEO, Householder was president and chief operating officer at Hitachi Vantara and before that, he held a similar position at Hitachi Data Systems (HDS). Householder also held multiple roles in areas like strategic planning, worldwide marketing, business development, partner enablement and acquisitions.
Householder joined HDS in 2003 from FilesX, where he ran the marketing and product management functions. Previously, he served in senior product management and marketing positions at Storage Networks. He also worked at strategy consulting and investment firm, The Parthenon Group, and was a senior financial analyst at Procter and Gamble.
Householder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Indiana University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
