Hitachi Data Systems Named Among the Best Companies to Work For® in Greater China

New Honor Adds to a Long List of Earned Workplace Recognitions.

Hong Kong — March 22, 2013 — Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., (TSE: 6501), today announced that it has been named one of the “Best Companies to Work For® in Greater China” in the Great Place to Work® Survey 2012 conducted by global human resources consultancy, Great Place to Work® Institute. The eight Hitachi Data Systems offices across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan participated in this survey. The award adds to the long list of “Top Workplace” accolades that HDS has won through direct employee feedback over the past several years.
