Mark Ablett leads all aspects of Digital Infrastructure (DI) global sales. His responsibilities include driving a cohesive sales strategy and expanding sales capabilities for Hitachi Vantara’s DI offerings and key infrastructure-related professional and managed services. As CRO, Ablett also ensures a seamless partnership with the Hitachi Vantara’s Digital Solutions business, allowing the company to deliver an aligned go-to-market (GTM) strategy that puts the customer and their desired business outcomes first.
Ablett was previously the senior vice president, global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Hitachi Vantara. In this role he drove a tightly aligned and globally consistent strategy anchored on growing the company’s core infrastructure business, accelerating sales around content and analytics, and identifying and incubating internet of things (IoT) opportunities.
Prior to taking on the GTM strategy role, Ablett was senior vice president and general manager for Hitachi Data Systems in the Asia Pacific region. For three years he led sales, outperforming the market and growing business in strategic areas. Before joining Hitachi, Ablett held executive positions at Juniper Networks and SpectraLink.
