Red Hat CTO will help guide Pentaho in delivering the industry leading analytics platform for Big Data, OEM and Cloud environments
July 17, 2012, — Delivering the future of business analytics, Pentaho Corporation today announced that Brian Stevens, CTO and vice president, worldwide engineering, Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), was elected to the Pentaho Board of Directors. Stevens brings tremendous experience in cloud computing and software innovation to Pentaho at a time when the business analytics market is being transformed by a deluge of large and diverse data volumes, the mainstream adoption of cloud solutions, and need for interactive analysis.

Stevens joined Red Hat's senior management team in 2001 and has been critical to the company's enterprise operating system, storage, and virtualization strategies. Stevens has responsibility for engineering globally, encompassing Linux®, virtualization, middleware, storage, and cloud computing.
