Leading Visual Effects Studios to Demonstrate the Power of Hitachi NAS at SIGGRAPH 2012

Arc Productions, Lux VFX, newbreed Visual Effects, Rainmaker Entertainment, Inc. and Tippett Studio to Showcase Hitachi NAS Platform Speed and Efficiency

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — July 31, 2012 — Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. (TSE: 6501), will showcase the power of Hitachi NAS Platform (network attached storage) through several visual effects (VFX) customers at SIGGRAPH 2012, August 7-9, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Visitors to Booth #622 will see how HDS technology enables media and entertainment customers to deliver better quality video effects and animated productions. Booth visitors will also meet with executives to learn more about HDS solutions for the media and entertainment industry.

Representatives from HDS customers, Arc Productions (Toronto, Canada), Lux VFX (Vancouver, BC), newbreed Visual Effects (Montreal, Canada), Rainmaker Entertainment, Inc. (Vancouver, BC), and Tippett Studio (Berkeley, CA), as well as value-added reseller (VAR) Annex Pro (Vancouver, BC), will join HDS to help highlight their solutions and breakthroughs with video presentations.
