Inspiring Growth

We make a difference by embracing what makes each individual different. We champion growth by giving employees continuous opportunities to learn, lead and shape their future.

Learning That Lasts

Learning never stops at Hitachi Vantara. From day one, we offer resources for employees including in-house training, live boot camps, career navigation, self-guided learning and region-specific tuition support.

Impact in Action

Hitachi has been making positive impact on society for more than 100-years, and Hitachi Vantara is proud to be a part of that mission.  Our employees around the world actively volunteer in projects that align with global priorities, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Here’s a look at what we’ve been doing recently:

Celebrating Women in Tech

In June, Hitachi Vantara took part in the Women in Tech Summit in Warsaw, Poland. With more than 10,000 people attending, it was a great opportunity to share Hitachi Vantara’s commitment to innovation and inclusion. From hands-on workshops and career fairs to mentorship and networking, the summit reinforced the critical role women play in shaping the future of technology.

Beyond Earth Day

Our Earth Alliance leaders hosted 20 global Earth Month events — from tree planting to forums on saving energy and reducing waste. Beyond that, our global distribution centers continue to lead environmental efforts. In the Netherlands, our site runs on sustainably generated energy and is recognized as Europe’s largest unsubsidized solar project on a single building. The local Green Team also recently installed three beehives — home to 60,000 bees — supporting pollination and boosting local biodiversity.

Time to Make a Difference

We make it easy for employees to find time to give back. Through our Hitachi Giving program, employees around the world volunteer year-round – whether teaching digital skills to underrepresented youth or restoring local green spaces. To support this commitment, we offer paid volunteer time off (VTO) during the workweek, so employees can support causes that matter to them. In the U.S., full-time employees receive 8 hours of VTO per year, and part-time employees receive 4 hours.

Every December, we come together for Giving Week. It’s a global initiative where employees volunteer on local projects to make a meaningful impact in the communities they call home.

At Hitachi Vantara, we empower employees to turn purpose into action. And action into lasting impact.
