Michael Zutenis Joins Hitachi Data Systems as Distribution and VARs Lead in Asia Pacific

Tasked With Growing and Evolving Distribution-Led Partner Business Across the Region

Sydney — March 15, 2017 — Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE:6501), today announced the appointment of Michael Zutenis as the new Distribution and Value-Added-Reseller (VARs) lead in Asia Pacific, further strengthening Hitachi Data Systems’ commitment to its partner-led business in the region.

Based in Melbourne, Zutenis is tasked with driving the strategy for distributors and TrueNorth partners across APAC to leverage regional frameworks for programs, enablement and measurement. He will focus on the growth and evolution of the indirect business across the region with solutions that help customers enable their digital transformation journey.

He joins HDS from Juniper Networks where he was the area partner director for Australia and New Zealand. Prior, he held senior APAC channel management and business operations roles at Juniper, and worked at Nortel. He started his career at Telstra, holding a variety of engineering positions over a period of eight years.
