The Hitachi Vantara Certified Professional (HVCP) Program is a globally recognized certification framework that validates your knowledge, skills, and abilities across Hitachi Vantara’s technology ecosystem. It’s a role-based program with a two-tier assessment structure—qualification-level tests and certification-level exams—covering areas like IT architecture, implementation, administration, and support of Hitachi Vantara solutions.
This program is ideal for anyone working with Hitachi Vantara technologies—whether you're in sales, presales, installation, implementation, support, or storage administration. It's designed for customers, partners, and employees alike who want to demonstrate their technical competency or strengthen their career in digital infrastructure and data solutions.
The HVCP Program offers four levels of credentials across two categories:
Credentials are valid for 2–3 years depending on the track.
All exams are administered through Kryterion's Webassessor platform. Some qualification tests are open-book and unproctored (available anytime online), while others, including all certification exams, are closed-book and proctored—either onsite at Kryterion test centers or via remote webcam. Registration requires a Hitachi Vantara account and can be completed through their SSO portal.
Upon passing a test or exam, you’ll receive a printable certificate and a digital badge via Credly that you can share online. You can track your certification status, access logos, and download transcripts through the CM Connect portal. This centralized platform provides full self-service credential management, including history, recertification dates, and badge access.
