Chief Product Officer, Digital Solutions, Hitachi Vantara

Sanjay Chikarmane leads the software products business within Hitachi Vantara's Digital Solutions organization. In this role, he is responsible for P&L of the Lumada DataOps and Pentaho product portfolios and oversees the business across all functions. Previously, Chikarmane was Hitachi Vantara's senior vice president of product management for IoT and analytics.

Before joining Hitachi Vantara, Chikarmane was senior vice president and general manager of the enterprise informatics business unit at Illumina. Prior to that role, he spent six years at SAP in various general management roles for data management and industry solutions businesses, and in product leadership roles at BEA Systems and Hewlett-Packard.

Chikarmane holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and a Master of Science in computer engineering from Syracuse University. He likes spending time with his family and enjoys nature photography, hiking, travel and experiencing different countries and cultures.
