Overview

Hitachi Vantara sought an independent, objective assessment of the storage architecture and capabilities of the Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) compliance mode namespace system for SEC Rule 17a-4(f).

The technical evaluation, which was performed by Cohasset Associates, concludes that the architecture and capabilities, when properly configured, meet the five requirements related to recording and non-rewriteable and non-erase storage of electronic records and either meets or supports the three requirements for an audit system, as specified in SEC Rule 17a-4(f) and FINRA Rule 4511(c).
