Hitachi Data Systems Appoints Grant Woodbury as Senior Systems Engineer, New Zealand
IT Industry Veteran to Focus on Data Management Solutions to underpin Digital Transformation for New Zealand
AUCKLAND September 7, 2016 — Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced the appointment of Grant Woodbury as Senior Systems Engineer for its New Zealand business. Based in Auckland, Grant brings more than 25 years of storage and ANZ channel knowledge to the company.
Grant brings a well-established technology pedigree, including software and SQL development with Sybase, hardware sales with Sun Microsystems prior to a 15 year tenure with NetApp. During this time he has worked in various Technical, Account and Channel Management positions, across many industry sectors across Australia and New Zealand.
Previously Grant was based in Sydney, Australia for five years, during which time he led teams for technical enablement in a national role.
Grant joins Auckland-based Territory Manager Jacques Cronje to support recent market growth and to discover, expand and to provide technical depth and coverage locally.
