Paul Shaw Joins Hitachi Data Systems ANZ as Sales Director, Northern Region

Tasked With Delivering Tangible Business Outcomes for Digital Transformation in the Enterprise

Sydney — January 25, 2017 — Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE:6501), today announced the appointment of Paul Shaw as sales director, Northern Region. Based in Sydney, Shaw will focus on growing the business for HDS enterprise IT solutions as enterprises move towards digital transformation, as well as educating the market on internet of things (IoT) opportunities.

He joins HDS from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) where he was most recently general manager, storage for Australia and New Zealand. He joined HP in 2004 as a senior solutions architect, and previously also held technical roles at Rabobank, Compaq and a startup system integrator (SI).
