Hitachi Data Systems Showcasing Solutions for VMware and Private Cloud at VMworld 2014
SAN FRANCISCO - August 22, 2014 - Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced it is demonstrating solutions at VMworld 2014, the must-attend virtualization and cloud computing event August 24-28 in San Francisco. Hitachi Data Systems, Global Platinum sponsor at this event, will showcase the power of HDS technology for VMware environments.

UCP 4000e comes pre-built with Hitachi storage and servers, Cisco switches, and UCP Director cloud infrastructure management software for both the virtual and physical infrastructure including abilities to monitor, provision, protect, and remediate issues. UCP 4000e accelerates time to deployment and increases business agility, at a price point for the midrange. Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) family is a broad portfolio of converged infrastructure solutions. The family combines best-of-breed storage, server, networking and software management in fully integrated packages that are designed for mission-critical workloads.
