Hitachi Data Systems Selected as Winner In 2014-15 Cloud Awards Program
Hitachi Content Platform Anywhere Wins "Best Mobile Cloud Solution"
Santa Clara, CA – 27 January 2015 – Hitachi Data Systems has been named a winner in the 2014-2015 Cloud Awards Program for the Best in Mobile Cloud Solution category. HDS was nominated for its Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) Anywhere offering.
Built end-to-end by Hitachi Data Systems, HCP Anywhere is the most secure, simple and smart sync-and-share collaboration solution on the market. HCP Anywhere is a powerful enterprise mobility application and the only truly private sync and share solution on the market. It maintains all aspects of data sharing, content security, and workflow in a fully on-premise, IT-controlled environment. It supports Bring Your Own Device initiatives and it improves better collaboration among users, and increases productivity. End users simply save a file to their HCP Anywhere folder and it automatically synchronizes to all of their registered devices, becoming available via popular Web browsers.
First introduced to the market in 2013, HCP Anywhere uses the Hitachi Content Platform as its core storage repository. This enables organizations to deliver IT-sanctioned, secure and cost-effective file sync and share tools to their employees and eliminate the risks associated with using consumer solutions for corporate data. The solution is available globally.
