Catriona Fallon provides financial and administrative leadership to Hitachi Vantara. She ensures alignment between the company's systems, processes and strategies to drive financial performance. She also leads the company's global finance, information technology, strategic operations and pricing, controllership, facilities and financial shared services functions.
Fallon joined Hitachi Vantara from Itron, where she delivered the best performance in the company's history as general manager of its Silver Spring Networks acquisition. Just prior, she was chief financial officer of Silver Spring Networks, where she executed the company's sale to Itron. Fallon brings more than 20 years of general management, finance, investor relations, corporate strategy and M&A experience to her role.
In addition to these experiences, Fallon served on the board of directors for Cray Inc. until it was sold to HPE. She now serves on the board of directors for Palomar Specialty Insurance. Previously, Fallon was the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Marin Software Incorporated, a SaaS marketing solutions company. She has held finance and strategic leadership positions across a variety of technology companies, including Cognizant Technology Solutions and Hewlett-Packard. She also served as an equity analyst covering software, media and technology companies at Citigroup. Fallon also held roles with Piper Jaffray & Company, McKinsey & Company and Oracle Corporation.
Fallon received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in economics from UCLA. She is a two-time Olympic rower for the USA team.
