Hitachi Consulting Names Adithya Sastry, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas Region
Dallas TX, May 21, 2019 – Hitachi Consulting, a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd (TSE: 6501) and a leading provider of consulting-led solutions and services, has appointed Adithya Sastry as senior vice president and general manager of the Hitachi Consulting's Americas region. Reporting to Hicham Abdessamad, chief executive officer of Hitachi Consulting, Sastry will be responsible for all aspects of operations across the Americas region.
"Our clients will benefit from Adithya's deep experience in managing large cross-functional teams and the insight he brings in using technology to drive disruptive transformations," said Abdessamad. "He is a leader in creating value from IoT solutions and business intelligence and helping clients improve their organizational effectiveness."

Most recently Sastry was at Cognizant, where he held senior leadership positions in the Internet of Things (IoT) and digital interactive groups. He previously held progressive leadership roles at GE and NCR.
Sastry earned a master's degree in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, a master's degree in computer science from Arkansas State University and a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Franklin University.
