Product Innovations and Corporate Leadership

• In July, Hitachi Vantara announced the intent to acquire REAN Cloud, reinforcing the company's ability to accelerate and secure enterprise cloud adoption across multicloud environments, and strengthen its ability to manage and operate traditional applications as well as emerging workloads in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• In May, Hitachi Vantara announced innovations to drive data center modernization with new high-performance storage systems with integrated cross-platform, AI-powered analytics and IT automation software, paired with the industry's broadest 100 percent data availability guarantee.
• Also in May and on the heels of the launch of Pentaho 8.0, the company announced Pentaho 8.1 with expanded multicloud data integration with Google Cloud Platform.
• In March, the company announced machine learning model management, an innovation introduced by Hitachi Labs, to enable organizations to put models into production faster, maximize model accuracy while in production, and collaborate and govern model operations at scale.
• In January, Hitachi Vantara announced the promotion of two key executives, Brian Householder, CEO, and Scott Kelly, COO and chief transformation officer.

• Over the past year, Hitachi Vantara has established relationships with more than 1,000 new customers including Health City, a healthcare-focused economic development organization in Canada, MyRepublic, a telecommunications operator in the Asia Pacific region, and one of Germany's central government agencies in partnership with IT Novum. This included expanded collaborations with CGI, Cognizant, Dicker Data, Hong Co Technology, NxtGen, SVA and Tech Data.
• In April, Hitachi Vantara launched a new simplified and agile Hitachi Vantara Partner Program that acknowledges an ever-changing marketplace, the new vision and strategy for Hitachi Vantara, and the transformations underway at our partner organizations.
• With partners like Arrow, Consiliant Technologies, Milestone Systems and DigitalCom, Hitachi Vantara continues to take large strides in the Smart Cities space. Earlier this month, the company also announced a partnership with the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance.
