Cisco Live has long held a very important place in the minds and hearts of the Cisco customer. The sheer number of Cisco and Cisco partner solutions that are showcased at this event means you can spend a few days and gather loads of information on what you can do today to ensure your business is ready for tomorrow. Consider that over the past year businesses have had to rapidly adapt to unexpected external factors. We’ve discovered that the new normal means agility is a necessity, which means taking advantage of the most effective technologies in a timely manner and ensuring access to the skills and expertise needed to do this effectively. Hitachi and Cisco make this easy.

Hitachi is continuing to build on and expand its alliance with Cisco. That’s why it is especially important for you to spend time at the Hitachi virtual booth at this year’s global Cisco Live virtual event. There have been some exciting developments:

  • Hitachi Content Software for File. This high-performance, scale-out file system is fully integrated with Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) and HCP for cloud scale, and it features the latest in Cisco Nexus 400G technology.
  • Cisco Intersight automation with Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP). Now the Cisco customer can have direct access to the 100% data availability, advanced data reduction, low latency and performance-leading storage capabilities of Hitachi VSP from Cisco Intersight. (See Cisco Blog: Cisco Intersight + Hitachi Storage: Now integrated for better orchestration of storage and virtual environments).
  • Continued expansion of Cisco and Hitachi Adaptive Solutions for Converged Infrastructure. Recently introduced deployment guides and papers support direct storage attachment for SAP HANA TDI and data protection from Cisco and Hitachi Adaptive Solutions for CI to Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) object storage or the public cloud, and support for the recently introduced Hitachi VSP E590 and E790 storage platforms.
