Meet our Team
The Revenue Performance Organization in Controllership is a dynamic, stakeholder and customer-oriented team in Finance that works with sales and services on customer contracts, orders, and structures and manages these deals from Quote to Order through to revenue recognition. We value business-focus while ensuring that we meet compliance and revenue standards under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). We collaborate with legal, logistics, FP&A, broader controllership, change management, shared services, and audit associates.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will perform repeatable order processing, financial and contract review of all order intake with ownership for the end-to-end order processing of Customer orders. The key responsibilities of this role will involve transactional analysis and processing in the areas of Order management, Fulfilment Orchestration, Contract Management, Deal Support, Order Processing and Revenue Recognition, Internal and external financial audits including JSOX audits and ad hoc reporting.
• Create, validate, and position sales and services quotes while processing all orders within the Company’s CRM and ERP platforms for the accurate and timely fulfillment and delivery of goods and services Support export compliance requirements,
• Ensure all assigned transactions have proper documentation and approvals for any standard and nonstandard financial Contract Terms and Conditions,
• Ensure all assigned deals are evaluated for compliance with IFRS, JSOX and Hitachi Vantara policies,
• Responsible for the final review and submission of the IFRS Compliance Checklist for all assigned orders. This includes providing all supporting documentation to substantiate the Company’s revenue and cost recognition conclusions,
• Tracking and communicating any order related and delivery related information to customers, partners and sales teams as required, Liaise with Distribution and Logistics for shipment and delivery information
• Support the creation of contracts for standard transactions, Engage Sr Revenue Performance Analyst or Revenue & Deal Team Lead/Manager for any financial terms & conditions involving terms that deviate from the Company standards and any terms affecting the timing of revenue recognition
What you bring to the team
• At least 2 years’ experience in corporate environment (finance industry preferable),
• Professional degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics can be a plus),
• English knowledge at least on B2 level,
• French working proficiency knowledge required; Spanish will be an asset
• Ability to partner with sales and services colleagues to achieve success,
• Customer, service-oriented mindset,
• Ability to work independently, while prioritizing many complex tasks in order to meet deadlines.
