About the Role 
The L3 Storage & SAN Engineer is responsible for BAU operations, technical ownership, and end-to-end support of Hitachi enterprise storage and SAN infrastructure in a 24x7 managed services environment. This role serves as the final technical escalation point, ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of mission‑critical storage platforms while also supporting implementation and transition projects
 
Office Location: BKC, Mumbai (Work from Office)
Key Responsibilities:
•    Strong hands‑on experience with Hitachi VSP series storage
•    Expert knowledge of SAN technologies (FC, zoning, LUN masking, MPIO)
•    Experience in 24x7 managed services and BAU operations
•    Solid understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem & Change Management
•    Provide L3 support for incidents, problems, and changes (ITIL aligned)
•    Handle storage provisioning, masking, performance tuning, and capacity management.
•    Manage SAN fabrics including zoning, multipathing, and host connectivity.
•    Execute firmware upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
•    Support storage implementation, migrations, and tech refresh projects.
•    Prepare and review HLD/LLD, implementation plans, and rollback procedures.
•    Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles; mentor L1/L2 teams.
•    Serve as the final escalation point and primary interface with Hitachi OEM support.
