What you’ll bring

  • Bridge any gaps and differences between the testing team and management, ensuring clear communication and alignment on quality expectations.

  • Act as a single point of contact between QA, development, and stakeholders for testing-related updates.

  • Review functional specifications and technical design documents to ensure completeness and testability.

  • Identify ambiguities in requirements and proactively seek clarifications before test execution.

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases aligned with project scope and timelines.

  • Define test strategies, scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria.

  • Oversee execution of test cases and ensure adequate test coverage across features.

  • Monitor defect trends and provide insights on quality metrics to management.

  • Ensure timely reporting of testing status, risks, and potential release impacts.

  • Guide and mentor QA engineers within the team on testing best practices, tools, and methodologies.

  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and support skill development within the QA team.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and testing efficiency.
