As Chief Revenue Officer, Adrian Johnson is responsible for driving the company’s global sales strategy and aligning its go-to-market execution with strategic initiatives that accelerate the adoption of the company’s products, services and solutions.
Adrian joined Hitachi Vantara in 2019 as the vice president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand, where he helped grow the business by 30% year-over-year. In 2022, he was promoted to vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific, where he successfully drove significant sales and market share growth. In 2024, he was promoted to senior vice president and general manager for the Americas and Asia Pacific regions, where he worked closely with customers to navigate digital transformation initiatives, gain insights from their data, and incorporate AI and sustainable practices into their strategies. Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, Adrian held senior roles at Liferay Inc., Dell, Fuji Xerox and Sun Microsystems.
Adrian is a graduate of the Royal Australian Naval College and holds a master’s degree in business and IT from the Australian Graduate School of Management and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
