Simon Ninan
Senior Vice President of Business Strategy
Simon Ninan is Senior Vice President of Business Strategy, responsible for developing and driving aligned execution of Hitachi Vantara’s business strategy for the short and long term, with the goal of maximizing customer and stakeholder value, while driving growth, innovation and market leadership.
Simon joined Hitachi Vantara in 2019 as Vice President of Growth & Transformation and was subsequently appointed Global Head of Strategy for the Digital Infrastructure business unit. He is also a member of Hitachi Ltd.’s Corporate Strategy office, where he provides regional advisory for North America, with a focus on ‘One Hitachi’ collaboration.
Prior to Hitachi, Simon spent over a decade as a strategy consultant with Monitor Deloitte, including a stint as COO of its India practice. As an advisor to senior client executives across startups and Fortune 500 companies, he led new business standups, growth programs and large-scale transformations.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science and an MBA in Strategy and International Business. He resides in the Bay Area, where he enjoys reading, writing, hiking and the occasional 3D jigsaw puzzle. He also volunteers with Kontagious, a non-profit organization that provides mentorship to immigrant students.
