Pentaho EMEA Adds New Executive Leadership and Inside Sales Team to Seize Growing Opportunities in Big Data

Pentaho Corporation today announced that it appointed new executives in EMEA to fuel growth and support customers and partners in the region.

March 5, 2013, — Delivering the future of business analytics, Pentaho Corporation today announced that it appointed new executives in EMEA to fuel growth and support customers and partners in the region. The new senior executives are Paul Gariboldi, Sales Director, EMEA and Erik Nolten, Channel Director EMEA. Pentaho has also created a new ‘Inside Sales’ team across the UK, Benelux, France and Germany.

Paul Gariboldi is leading EMEA’s direct sales force, drawing on 28 years serving as mentor, entrepreneur, investor and highly successful enterprise sales executive for technology companies in Europe and the Americas. He has transformed the fortunes of early-stage companies including ATG (Art Technology Group), Apisphere, The Concorde Group, and Oracle by helping to secure venture funding, establishing lucrative partnerships, launching products in new markets and consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets. Paul has considerable operational and people management experience to help Pentaho’s EMEA team manage and thrive during its current phase of high growth. Paul speaks Italian and is learning Spanish and French.

Erik Nolten brings 17 years inside channel knowledge and professional contacts from his previous roles at KPN Corporate Market (formerly Getronics), Oracle and Microsoft. Erik is responsible for Pentaho’s EMEA channel strategy, building the partner network and designing new services to help partners achieve their goals. New Inside Sales Team
In addition to the new executive hires in EMEA, Pentaho has also recently added eight new sales and inside sales representatives across the UK, France and Germany. Inside sales reps are responsible for early lead development and will now report into Paul Gariboldi. Rob Morrison, marketing director, EMEA, who originally built up and ran the inside sales team and will now further expand his channel marketing organization.
