Now even easier for channel players to profit from the big data revolution
September 4, 2013, —0 0 1 654 3730 PENTAHO 31 8 4376 14.0 Pentaho Corporation, the leader in big data analytics and data integration announced today that it has redesigned its partner programme to reward commitment and make it easier to join. The Pentaho Partner Program is designed to support OEMs, system integrators, distributors, resellers and other channel companies seeking to build profitable and sustainable businesses based on Pentaho Enterprise Edition. Pentaho’s subscription model gives these partners even more scope to earn money from value-added services for business analytics and big data by freeing up customer budget normally allocated to software licenses.
To make it easier for new organisations to sign up to the partner programme, Pentaho has introduced a new entry level called ‘Registered Member’. Pentaho has also simplified the main partnership level, now called ‘Certified Partner’. To reward commitment, Certified Partners that offer advanced services and sell successfully are eligible to earn the top ‘Premium’ status. These new levels replace the previous Bronze, Gold and Platinum and make it easier for customers to select the right partner for their needs. Pentaho will migrate current partners to the new levels by the end of 2013, which are detailed here:
Steve Adams, managing director of Pentaho’s Gold partner, Linalis, applauds the new changes, "Linalis has been a partner with Pentaho for 6 years and each of them has seen both the product suite and the company grow from strength to strength. Focusing our efforts on Pentaho provides a clear advantage for us and our consultants, who are able to get even more out of the functionalities with each new project we work using our Agile BI methodologies. The Pentaho team works well across the whole of the Linalis organisation in France, Switzerland and the UK and we have developed multiple contact points as both of our companies grow."
According to Erik Nolten, Director Channel EMEA and APAC at Pentaho, “Pentaho is a high-growth business in the thriving big data space so the upside in the channel is as high as partners choose to make it. We enhanced our partner programme to give greater rewards for partner commitment and success and we are investing significantly in the Partner Programme as partners are key to our continued growth.”
The new Pentaho Partner Programme is available now in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Asia Pacific and Latin America. For more details or to register, please visit the new partner pages and registration form on Pentaho’s website http://www.pentaho.com/var-partner-program.
