Sheila Rohra
Chief Executive Officer
Sheila Rohra is CEO of Hitachi Vantara and is focused on accelerating growth through transformation and innovation with a customer-first mindset. Under her leadership, the company develops and delivers innovative data infrastructure solutions that are designed to accelerate customers’ digital transformations around the globe. Sheila joined Hitachi Vantara in February 2023, as Chief Strategy Officer, was named President of the data infrastructure business in August 2023 and named CEO in November 2023.
Sheila is an experienced strategist, transformation and customer success leader with more than 20 years in high tech leadership roles and proven experience transforming multibillion-dollar companies.
Prior to Hitachi Vantara, Sheila was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Data Infrastructure Business at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). In that role, she was responsible for a global organization focused on delivering storage products and services to Fortune 500 companies. Before HPE, she spent 10 years at NetApp where she served as SVP of Customer Success and led an enterprise-wide transformation as Chief Transformation Officer.
In addition, Sheila spent 12 years at Cisco where she led manufacturing to scale their fastest-growing networking product at the time. She has also held other senior management roles in quality engineering and manufacturing at Bay Networks (later acquired by Nortel Networks).
Sheila lives in the Bay Area and serves on the board for Women in Engineering (WIE) for the University of Maryland and for Ayati, an organization that helps young women and girls stay in school in rural India. In her leisure time, Sheila enjoys traveling, hiking and cooking with her family.
